Prices go up and prices go down, but this year they're going every which way. While it's difficult to predict how the economy will impact the cost of products and services, there are several sure bets on both ends of the scale. Here are a few predictions. GOING UP Orange Juice The FDA discovered "low levels" of a fungicide in the 2011 orange crop imported from Brazil, the world's largest produce of oranges. Airfare More people want to fly,...

Through the ages, women have never had a lack of complaints about the inequalities between men and women. Particularly when it comes to romance, dating and age, there's always been a lot to complain about. I wish I could say that I am not about to contribute to that litany of gripes, but oh no, I'm about to jump right in. So, this whole "Cougar" thing. I wouldn't mind if that term got lost in the Bronx Zoo and was never heard from again. Or was shot...

The Bag Brand with Buzz is Having Handy Sales
    26 June 2008

I am really loving handbags by Kooba. If you want an upgrade on ‘casual’ I recommend looking into this brand. The stylishly elite like Sarah Jessica Parker and Sienna Miller are already fans. I’ve already got a favorite Kooba bag, the: Kooba ‘Gracie’ Convertible Bucket/Tote Bag. I’ve found it in three colors, from two different stores. Buckle down, because you are going to have to make a hard choice. Breathe deeply and let intuition guide you. A Xanax wouldn’t hurt, either. (Kidding, mostly.)
Nordstrom has the Gracie in white or black. Neiman Marcus has it in green/teal, but do note that they call it a shoulder bag (same bag, though). The white and black from Nordstrom come with the price tag of $625.00. The more elusive teal bag from Neiman Marcus is going for $725.00. The teal is actually my favorite out of all three, but one does (unfortunately) have to consider pricing matters. Then again, this is something you will get so much use out of, you can argue that it’ll pay for itself. That’s logic, so I say - go with whatever is your favorite color. Then, you can’t go wrong. Sometimes logic is all you need. Other times you need 200 canapes for a party in one hour, but that’s another story.

Want a Kooba on sale? Okay? Where are Kooba’s on sale? Neiman Marcus has some very nice choices.

Let’s see…Neiman Marcus has the Kooba Jackie Ruched Handbag on SALE for $473.00, down from $675.00. (We love New York Bargains!)

There is also the sophisticated Lady Croc-Embossed Shoulder Bag on SALE for $375.00, down from $535.00. They have a typo and they call it a ’soulder’ bag. But unless there’s a new trend I’ve never heard an inkling of, I’m going to stick with my ‘typo’ theory. But keep me updated if you hear about any new ’soulder’ bags!
