I am looking for the perfect Mother of the Groom dress. The wedding is in July in Philadelphia, Sunday night, not black tie. I am having a hard time, because either the gowns are too much over the top or too much like “old lady “dresses. Help. Why is everything strapless. There has to be an appetite for elegance for the “mature” woman. We shouldn’t have to be restricted to the perennial dress and jacket. One evening dress looks like the other; a little different decoration and fabric and the designer things they have a new dress. I should have been a designer.

I don’t think this is such a fair contest. Basically, the one with the most friends wins! So we just need to be popular for our oufit to be voted most?
