Know something we dont?
E-mail us at mgluck@thevoguecity.com Consumers tend to make straightforward New Year resolutions: Spend less, save more and pay down debt. This year, it appears retailers want to change just one thing...their bottom line. The tried-and-true methods aren't working anymore as consumers learn to resist the urge to buy, so merchants are starting their own trends. According to Bloomberg, consumer spending stalled in December, with a rise of just 0.1 percent, as Americans took advantage of last...
Click to read more » Through the ages, women have never had a lack of complaints about the inequalities between men and women. Particularly when it comes to romance, dating and age, there's always been a lot to complain about. I wish I could say that I am not about to contribute to that litany of gripes, but oh no, I'm about to jump right in.
So, this whole "Cougar" thing. I wouldn't mind if that term got lost in the Bronx Zoo and was never heard from again. Or was shot...

Giuliana Teso Showroom Sale
4 February 2009
Today I faced a brutal weather to visit the Giuliana Teso sample sale. Oh what a lovely time I had, it made it all worth it. The place is a wonderland for the girl who thinks that diamonds are girl’s best friends and that blonds have more fun, if you know what I mean….. It is old Hollywood for today’s gossip girl. And if that wasn’t enough I also had the pleasure to meet the famous Shelly and Renee, the visionaries who started the sample sale madness in New York 10 years ago. They organized this sale, and they have some others coming up- check their website at http://www.shellyandrenee.com/. Now, going back to the “Giuliana Teso and more” sample sale. When I got there I wasn’t aware that there will be more than Giuliana Teso so I grabbed a shearling overwhelmed with joy that I had found something I can afford. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that my find came from the 4 racks that were not part of the Giuliana Teso collections. So, if something looks too good to be true, you are probably picking from the wrong rack. The prices were about 60%-70% off, not all items are tagged but look around and either Shelly or Renee will jump to help you. The fox collar I picked was originally priced at $875 and I grabbed it for $199. Sweet! I noticed a cool mink that was originally priced at $100,000 and was discounted at $35,000 and I have a feeling that you might be able to negotiate an even better price. There were some amazing pieces but most of them were sample size, a stylish 42, which I am no more. So, if you have 3-4K to treat yourself and if you are a size 42 you might want to hit this sale. I am enclosing a link to the video of their collection to give you an idea what to expect http://www.giulianateso.com/video_eng.htm Posted by Mirela at 12:45 AM bargain news , Reviews Sample and Retail Sales | Trackback | Print This Post Leave a Reply
