    Your garden variety wallpaper gets a whimsical upgrade to take it from one dimensional paper to a practical and punchy burst of illusion. I first came across this warped wall art when I heard of German-based Surrealien whose fleece wallpaper rolls are dotted with optical illusions to give the appearance that the objects are stretching to break out of the wall. Recently Swedish designer Kicki Nyborg decided to add a touch of practicality to her eye candy-esque wares. Her usual MO consists of wallpaper and 3D pieces mounted on top such as a wavy shelving unit.
